Discover your inner writer in beautiful settings with experienced creative writing tutors. Our residential and day courses offer a chance to explore your voice and build on a range of writing techniques with like-minded people. Whether you are a new writer or wrestling with your work-in-progress, Inkwell courses will allow you to hone and practise your skills in drama, poetry and prose. Tutors range from creative writing and English Literature lecturers to published poets and children’s authors, and longer courses will be joined by a critically acclaimed guest writer. Workshops focus on developing craft and style through a variety of prompts, and are designed to appeal to writers in any genre. Emphasis is placed on the importance of critique and feedback in a supportive and safe environment. Tea, coffee and homemade cake are provided free on day courses. All meals and accommodation are included on residential courses, with a complimentary glass of fizz on the first night. At whatever writing stage you happen to be, whether that is on the point of publication or at the beginning of your writing journey, allow yourself peace and space to release your creative energy. L-Inkwell

is the online presence of Inkwell. We offer write-ins, workshops and one to one tutorials using video conferencing. We are also able to offer English tuition as all tutors are highly qualified lecturers and teachers with a wealth of experience. In addition, we are able to offer an editing and critique service, as well as thesis/dissertation checking. We send out regular newsletters which details forthcoming events, competitions, and so on.
